Using Social Media in the Classroom

posted Jul 25, 2011, 11:31 AM by Lin Kuzmich
Interesting article in USA Today and a video on TED for you to think about.  Is this a good thing or not?  You decide.  I see the potential and the cautions well articulated in the media and on educational blogs.  If Facebook is blocked in your district started with shared documents and also create a blog for students and parents within your system.  Track the hits and see if you get a good response to this pathway for communication.  It is a reality of 21st Century literacy, how we use it is a great question for all educators.
