Using the New Bloom's and Depth of Knowledge to Plan Learning

The State of Texas and the Smarter Balance Assessment Consortium are using the newer version of Bloom's Knowledge Taxonomy for planning instruction and designing assessments.  I like the idea of using the new Bloom's Model, however I think you can also benefit from using the Depth of Knowledge model to help students develop better thinking skills.  I attached two tools to help you plan instruction and design assessment with the new standards in your state.
